Britain at War

Saturday August 9th – Sunday August 10th

Sir Marmaduke Rawdon’s Regiment returns to the wonderful Chiltern Open Air Museum in an enthralling Weekend of British History. ‘Britain at War’ features groups enacting a cross-section of British wartime History from the Middle Ages through to the World Wars. Rawdon’s Regiment will be right in the middle portraying a Company of Foote from the time of the British Civil Wars. Find out how a 17th century musketeer would load and fire their weapons to cut down enemy soldiers, and how the Pikeman would protect the whole army from attack by enemy cavalry.

0.00am – 5.00pm each day.
