The March through Newport Pagnell, 4.00 pm

Sunday 30th & Monday 31st

10.00 – 11.30 Drill

The soldiers train and drill on the battlefield.

12,00 – 12.30 The Raid

Scouting party will attempt to move on Newport Pagnell but troops from the town will repel them. 

12.30 Kiddie’s Drill

A chance for the youngsters to have a go with (imitation) pikes and muskets

1.00 – 2.30 Exercise of Arms

The soldiers will demonstrate the use of the different branches of the army and of the weapons they carry.

Infantry – 1.00

Cavalry – 1.30

Artillery – 2.00

2.30 – 3.00 Cricket Match

Come and have a go at cricket, seventeenth century style

3.00 The Battle

The battle of Newport Pagnell, with pike, musket, horse and artillery
