Meet with soldiers of the English civil war who be patrolling Chepstow Castle. With show and tell sessions throughout the day, visitors can learn about the armour and weapons of the defenders against the forces of Oliver Cromwell and his Roundheads.

Members of Lord Hopton’s regiment of foote will be hosting this one day event which will be a show and tell with several mini demonstrations of different soliders who would of been part of the garrison of the castle whilst under siege by Parlimentarian forces.

The castle post code is NP16 5EY. There is a large car park next to the castle near Chepstow bridge.
